At the beginning of this project I wasn't sure what to do as I found it hard to find something that I could enjoy that was my own project.
I firstly looked into doing a travel diary and looking into my journey to and from Cheltenham and Carlisle, as this is a big part of my uni life traveling from these places. My plan was to look into what I see when I travel from each place, the people that get on and off the train. The main part would be to look at the places I go through and pass without me knowing as I travel across the country in four hours!
I could take this further by looking into doing variety of maps, smell, photography etc this could take me to many directions.

New Idea

After having some time to think about it and after talking to Jean in my crit I had a rethink about my idea, as I think this would have been interesting area to look into this would have been an expensive project as I would have had to have made maybe more than one journey home to get as much research as possible.

However I was thinking about how much I love movies and how I like to read about them, I decided to do something in this area. My new idea is to look into 'Old and New Hollywood' from a young age my parents have introduced me to a variety of film and music. So I would enjoy this a lot more and I already have a knowledge of films from different era's. My idea is to look into the differences in fashion, star power, glamour, films and the actors from then and now, as in time all these things have changed which is noticeable.
