Douglas Gordon, I looked at him as he took a film that he had seen and made it into a 24hour long art piece as you can be watching something and not take it in, you will miss parts of the film but if you watch it again you see it.

He wanted every second of this film to mean something weather it was the knife killing the girl to blood going down the drain, every second counts.

I think this would work well with the Firework scene as this is such an iconic part in this film. You can see the colours of the fireworks to the simply setting in the background. You will be able to take in each part of the scene. This will become a art in itself, as each still is a picture that someone has created.

Here I'v done my own version of Douglas Gordon, however I only did the firework scene for 5minutes without sound. As I wasn't able to find the bell scene for Houseboat. However I think the 5minute video shows each frame as a picture and shows how elegant Grace Kelly is along with how stunning the diamonds look on her.
